This podcast series is designed to help students make informed decisions about their future. We interview three key resources from each post-secondary institution (Colleges, Universities & Trade Schools) to help “Demystify the College Path”:
First we talk with the head of Admissions about campus life and attributes of successful first year students in their general studies programs.
Next we talk with the Chair or Dean of each school program such as Finance, Nursing, Psychology and many more. We ask what they look for in students entering the program and what they see in students successfully graduating the program.
Finally we speak with graduates of the program currently working as professionals in their elected field. We ask how the program prepared them for their work environment. Also, which internship or coop assistance programs the school provided in the job search and placement process.
Take the work out of college search. Use the SpringPath College Match App to find your perfect school.
The reason I created this podcast series is to help listeners build confidence as we answer a key question for any profession, “I want to be an astronaut, but no one in my family is an astronaut. Who can I talk to?” It can be any profession, because we all choose different paths; however, the fact is the commitment to any multi-year school or program is a big one. I want you to hear from the people who run these programs and from graduates/professionals who have completed them.
Look me up on the SpringPath App and message me about more schools and programs you want to hear from on our show.
